Hot melt adhesive supply hoses are electrically-heated, flexible conduits designed for the transfer of hot-melt material from an adhesive supply unit [ASU] to an applicator [head or handgun]. The hoses are heated by resistance heaters which are spirally wrapped around the hose core and covered with a high-temperature insulation. The hose temperature is regulated by the ASU’s controller through a sensor [RTD] located inside the hose. These hoses provide through wiring for power, sensor and chassis ground in the ASU through moulded 5 pin connectors.
The most important element of a heated hose is the core.The hose core is made of high grade PTFE (Teflon) tubing with 304 stainless steel braded around the outer surface. The reinforced Teflon tube assures the most efficient transfer of molten materials. PTFE tubing is resistant to almost all acids, solvents, and hydrocarbons. Combined with the stainless steel braid, you get outstanding resistance to heat, pressure, pulsing, flexing, and vibration.
Wash down hot melt hose models are available. They consist of a standard hot melt hose, made water resistant with the addition of a seamless flexible sleeving, sealed end cuffs and liquid-tight electrical conduit and fittings.

All our high performance hoses are supplied NEW. We do not rebuild, refurbish, repair or exchange heated hoses.
